Triaxial mechanical behaviour of hybrid basalt–polypropylene fibre-reinforced concrete: The effect of micro-fibres at multi scale levels

چکیده

Abstract The triaxial mechanical properties of hybrid basalt–polypropylene fibre-reinforced concrete (HBPRC) were investigated in detail. different effects micro-basalt fibre (BF) and micro-polypropylene (PF) on the revealed. strength criterion for HBPRC was established. results showed that hydrostatic behaviour, volumetric strain, peak deviatoric stress, elastic modulus, Poisson’s ratio are affected by not only confining pressure but also BF PF. gradually changes failure mode from split to shear extrusion plastic flow failure. PF mainly improve deformation performance concrete, respectively. A nonlinear Mohr–Coulomb (M–C) HBPRC, which takes into account effect, is calculated performed using proposed agree well with experimental results.
